Hello friends. I know December is more of a christmas month, but in my family we have much more occasion to celebrate through those few weeks. We have a lot of birthdays including mine and my daughter's. Gabrysia is the only one enjoying big party, as she is still a kid, and I couldn't be more happy to work with birthday themed collection this month instead of christmas line. After all, I have so many new pictures to scrap after the party :) New "Hooray" collection from Crate Paper is a total perfection to me. Bright, colorful, with funny critters, cakes and balloons - it has everything I could ever want from this kind of collection.

I started with creating a layout with pictures from fast photo session before the party. It's a kind of a traidtion for my girls to pose with the balloons and we have a lot of fun taking those photos.

As always, they try to make silly faces instead of pretty smiles, but you get what they give you, right? I chose four of my favorite pictures and printed them in the same size.

I picked colorful paper called "Birthday girl" for the background. I love the rainbow stripes contrasting with pink color.

I arranged stickers, puffy stickers, cardboard stickers and foam stickers in a composition on the right side of the layout. I also incorporated a title amoung them.

I am such a big fan of the variety of embellishments that always come with Crate Paper collections. There are so many stickers to choose from. Some of them are flat, some are transparent. There are also puffy stickers, the ones made of foam and cardboard. It helps you to create a dimension and different texture.

I am so inspired by this collection that I already started working on mini album. I think it will be the first time for me to finish a birthday mini week after the party. Crate Paper "Hooray" collection is a true gem among other birthday lines and it's so versatile. You can easily scrap both masculine and feminine parties.
