Hello Friends. I have a great pleasure working with "Whimsical" collection by Pink Paislee in November. I am a big fan of every collection designed by Paige Evans and this one is no exception. I love all the colors, pretty florals and a great variety of embellishments. Everything has a premium quality and working with it is fun and stressless. My first project created with this line is a layout.
I wanted to scrap this picture of my daughter Gabrysia feeding birds in the park. She looks so pretty and she loves animals. She reminded me a guardian angel at this photo so I decided to turn her into one.
I cut out a pair of wings using one of the Paige Evan's cut files and my favorite scrappy tool - Silhouette Cameo.
With 24 double sided pattern papers in this collection, you for sure have plenty to choose from. I struggles with choosing a background for my photo but I decided to use this pretty ombre paper.
Two ephemera packs - the regular one and florals only - are so great. There are so many elements to choose from. I picked all the animals and places them around the picture. I also added some flowers, because there is no such thing like too many flowers, right?
I hand cut few cloud from vellum and sew them to my background. It added some fun texture. I highlighted it by adding false stitches from rub-ons pack. They rub so easily.
Adding the title was my final step. I am a big fan of thickers and Paige always designs some fun shapes and colors.
I hope you love "Whimsical" collection as much as I do. I will be back to you with some more inspiration created with this line soon. Anna
