Hello crafty friends. It's Anna here with another project created using "My bright life" collection by Pebbles. This time I will not show you a layout, because this collection was just calling for recipe book. It even has special paper included with 6*4 cards, perfect to write down you favorite recipes.
I created my own recipe book from scratch using two pieces of cardboard as my cover and gluing them with paper from 12*12 paper pad. I used 6*4 cards as a inner pages. Some of them are cut out from "Recipes" paper and some of them are just plain white cardstock.
With such a busy pattern with all the kitchen stuff, my cover didn't need much of embellishing. Two tags, title and few stickers and ephemera pieces were more than enough. i used super fun puffy alpha from Pinkfresh Studio collection called "Let your heart decide". It really looks good with the kitchen theme.
Paper with 6*4 cards ready to be put into the recipe book was such a great idea. I also added few cards cut of very similar paper from older Pebbles collection called "Patio Party".
At first I was going to use binding machine and binding wire to bring all the pages together, but then I thought it would be fun to be able to add more pages to the book if needed. That is why I used rings than can be easily open.
White pages are great for embellishing them with clear stickers. I love the ones from "My bright life" collection. They are tiny and you have so many to choose from. I tried to use all of the kitchen related ones in this project.
Adding dividers for Soups, Main courses, Salads and Desserts will make using this recipe book easier. I also added fifth divider with no title so it can be customize later.
I love how it all turned out and I love "My bright life" collection. It's so versatile. I already created "back to school" layout, baby page and now recipe book and it's not my final words.
That is all for today. Thank you for stopping by and see you soon.
XO Anna
