Hi crafty friends,

it's Laureen here and I am very excited to be sharing my first two cards using the super cute April 2018 card kit!


It features a super adorable stamp set from Pinkfresh Studio and I wanted the girl in the teacup with her little bunny friend to be the star of the show.


I began by stamping all my images using alcohol marker friendly ink and colored all the images in using Copic Markers.
After that was done I used the coordinating dies to the stamp set - that come in the kit - how awesome is that?!



I began arraning my little images, making it look like three ballons where holding the tea cup.
I still needed something to set my scene on and so I decided to use the Lawn Fawn Inside out scalloped circle die to cut three circles out of my first card base.


I backed the open spaces with the patterned paper, which didn't exactly match my coloring. Instead of recoloring all my images I just muted the patterned paper by placing vellum on top.


I stuck my little images into the cut out circles and like how the scallop makes it look like clouds!
My sentiment is stamped on a black piece of cardstock and heat embossed in white. I absolutely love the contrast it gives!


My second card is a shaped card! I used the same patterned paper again and also placed vellum on top of it!

Then I just adhered my girl in the teacup with some foam squares and added my banner sentiment peeking behind one of the ballon straps!


I added Morning Dew Nuvo drops to both cards as a finishing detail!
