Magical Scene Building | Zinia Amoiridou

Hello everyone! It's Zinia here and today I want to share with you a fun scene building tutorial using the gorgeous March 2018 Pink & Paper Card kit.

I started by stamping a bunch of the images on a piece of white cardstock. I basically filled the whole paper cause I wasn't sure exactly which images I'll need and I wanted to be covered.

The next step is obviously to color the images. You can use any medium you like. For my examples I colored one card using alcohol markers and another one using watercolor pens.

Once the coloring is done, I fussy cut all the images to have them ready to go.
The next step is to start preparing my cardbase. I wanted to add some color on my background so I decided to grab the Distress Oxides that are included in this kit and stamp using my acrylic block.

Covering the block with a generous amount of ink and then adding a spritz of water to help the color move around, that's all you need for an easy Oxide watercolor background.

Then comes the fun part, assembling our scene. I just played around with the images until I was happy with the way they looked and I adhered them down.

Along with my fussy cut images, I also cut out some leaves from the pattern paper that comes in this month's kit.
For a finishing touch, I added some ink spatters in coordinating colors.

I really love how cute and whimsical these cards turned out.

Thank you so much for joining me. Until next time, happy crafting. Zinia
