Come ride a limo with me and Waffleflower Crafts | Laureen Wagener

Hi everyone and welcome to todays cardspiration!

I was lucky to get to work with the super cute Limo Ride stamp set by Waffleflower Crafts this month and made two birthday cards!

My initial thought was to create a slider card but I didn't have any foam adhesive anymore, so I needed to cancel those plans.
I still made two interactive cards using Action Wobblers to attach my cars to the card.

I started by stamping the ballons from the stamp set and created a mask in order to stamp my car on top of the ballons. This gives the look as if the ballon is part of the main car stamp.

I used Alkohol markers to color in my two cars and fuzzy cut the images out and left a little white border, which makes it look like I used regular die cuts.

I recently watched an awesome video by Jennifer Mcguire on creative background blending and totally wanted to give it a go!
I chose two different distress inks and blended these - a darker color on the bottom and a lighter at the top. Then I used matching ink colors and some of the smaller images from the stamp set to add interest in the background.

I adhered both of my cars with an action wobbler onto my background, to make it more fun for the recipient.

As finishing touches I added glossy accents to the ballons and some shimmer to the party hats and gifts.

I hope you enjoyed todays inspiration and will give your interactive cards a go!
Have a great crafty weekend,

Laureen
