Nagy izgalommal vártam, hogy megérkezzen a February Card Kit, és nem is csalódtam: a benne található Avery Elle bélyegző és hozzá tartozó vágósablon "szupercuki", a színes papírok tökéletesen harmonizálnak a flitterekkel és a 2 rózsaszínes árnyalatú Nuvo Drops-szal. Tökéletes Valentin-napi képeslapok készítéséhez. Neki is láttam egyből és két képeslapot készítettem, ugyanazokkal a módszerekkel. Csak más elrendezésben.

Hello, I am Zsofi with my first post here on the Pink and Paper blog. I was impatiently waiting for my February Card Kit to arrive and I wasn't disappointed: the Avery Elle stamp and die set included in this month's kit is super cute, the patterned papers go perfectly with the sequin mix and the 2 pinkish Nuvo Drops bottles. Fantastic for making Valentine's Day cards. I had to start playing with them immediately and I made 2 very similar cards just different layout.

Először lepecsételtem a bélyegző készlet minden elemét fehér, alkoholos filccel kompatibilis papírra. Nyomdapozícionáló eszközt használtam, mert így biztosan jó lenyomatot kapok akkor is, ha kétszer kell ugyanoda visszapecsételnem. Copic filcekkel kiszíneztem a kis hódokat és kiegészítőket, majd a hozzá tartozó vágósablonokkal kivágtam őket. Fantasztikusan ötletes, ahogy az egyik pici sablon a mancsokat vágja körbe, így könnyen betuszkolhatunk bármilyen kiegészítőt a hódok kacsói közé.

I started with stamping all the images on white Copic friendly paper. I used my stamp positioner to make sure I get a perfectly stamped image even if I have to stamp it twice. I used Copics to colour the otters and accessories and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. It is lovely how the little dies cut around the paws of the otters, so we can easily tuck anything in there.



Második lépésben egy öltésmintás keretvágó sablonnal fehér kartonból 3 keretet vágtam és összeragasztottam őket. Így nem kell 3D ragasztót használnom és mégis kiemelkedik a keret a képből. A belső téglalapra egy általam készített hullám-stencillel és Distress tintával elkészítettem a vizet, amiben a hódocskám úszkál majd. A feliratot is rápecsételtem fekete tintával.

As a second step I used a stitched rectangle frame die to cut 3 frames from white cardstock and layered them on top of each other. In this way I don't have to use 3D foam squares but I will get instant dimension. On one of the inner rectangles I sponged some Distress inks using a handmade wave stencil. I stamped the sentiment with black ink.


Az egyik mintás papírból akkora darabot vágtam, hogy befedjen egy képeslapot (4,25x5,5 inch méretűt). Ráragasztottam a keretet majd a hódos jelenetet. Feldíszítettem a kiegészítőkkel és néhány flitterrel, melyek közepébe Nuvo Drops-t cseppentettem. Így olyan mintha kis kagylók úsznának a vízen. Szeretem a képeslapjaimat egy átlátszó csillámos tollal illetve Glossy Accent-tel még különlegesebbé tenni, ez most sem maradhatott el. Olyan szépen csillog így.

From one of the patterned papers I cut a 4,25x5,5 inch piece and adhered it to a card front. I glued the frame first then the inner scene. I embellished with the little accessories and added a few sequins too. I used a dot of the Nuvo Drops from the kit in the middle of the sequins, in this way they look like little seashells with a pearl. I love to take my cards to another level by using a clear shimmer pen and glossy accents on some parts of the images. I love the sparkle and shine I get in this way.
