December Guest Designer - Tabea Grabowska

Hello there! It’s a lace-pink-and-sparkle-loving Tabby. Step by step I want to show you, how to make a small album to collect your favourite Christmas memories with the Crate Paper Falala collection!

First of all, cut two strong cardstocks in size 16x16cm. After that you need to cut a filling the same size as the cardstock. I used four layers of cleaning cloth from the drugstore. You can choose your favourite fabric and cut a 26x26cm square. Place the layer and glue it with: first the fabric, with the „nice“ side down, then the filling and after that the cardstock. Please, glue first the longer sides and after that the corner as shown in the picture. Punch holes where you wish to have the rings.

Now, you can decorate the front cover. I used ribbon, lace and Chipboard Sticker by the Falala collection. I also used the Epoxy Sticker by Crate Papers Falala Collection.

After that cut another cardstock in size 14,5x14,5cm for inside to hide the fabric’s ends. Now punch holes in a bunch of cardstock to use it as pages. I used almost all the 6“x6“ Paper Pad from the Falala collection.

Finish the album with albumrings and some decorations like small tags, pearls, buttons, ornaments or ribbon on the rings.

I also created a personalized gift tag beacuse it's really fun to make it. You don‘t need an envelope and can place it anywhere using ribbon or a clothespin! Make any size to write as much as you want on the backside of the gift tag!

For this tag I used a simple black and white cardstock as a base. After that I glued from top to bottom some lace that I found in my stash, as well as the pink cardstock, pompoms and the black sequin ribbon. The cute pink house and the Christmas Magic label are chipboard stickers from the Crate Paper Falala collection. For the green and black name background I used the 6“x6“ Paper Pad. The stars are also Falala stickers and buttons. You can use wooden or sticker alphabet to personalize your gift tag!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you like my mini album and tag inspiration! Tabby
